Resistance bands added to treadmill training may boost stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT07346352
Summary
This study tested if adding Thera-Band resistance bands to standard treadmill training could better help stroke patients recover. Forty patients who had a stroke and could walk independently were split into two groups: one did treadmill training with the bands, and the other did treadmill training alone. Researchers measured improvements in walking, balance, leg stiffness, and depression after eight weeks of therapy.
