Scientists check if 'push' treadmill works as promised
NCT ID NCT05333263
Summary
This study aimed to check how accurately a special research treadmill can deliver controlled pushes or disturbances to a person's balance. Researchers at Mayo Clinic tested the treadmill on 12 healthy adults to see if the machine's movements matched what was commanded. The goal was to validate the equipment for future studies on balance and falls, not to treat any condition.
