Summary
This small pilot study looked at two medications, trazodone and quetiapine, for treating delirium (sudden confusion) in intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Researchers wanted to see which drug worked better to shorten confusion, improve sleep, and reduce side effects. The study included 10 adults in the surgical ICU who needed medication for their symptoms.
