New study tests trauma therapies for kids facing racial stress

Summary

This study offers two proven trauma therapies—Trauma-Focused CBT and Trauma Systems Therapy—to children aged 5-17 with PTSD and their families. Researchers want to see how well these treatments work when children also face stress from racial trauma and adapting to a new culture. About 237 participants will be enrolled.
