Summary
This study tested whether a noninvasive ultrasound done on the belly (transperineal) can accurately measure cervical length in pregnant women, compared to the standard internal ultrasound. The goal is to find a less uncomfortable way to check for risk of early labor. 85 women in their second or third trimester took part.
