First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at two different ways to train for running: polarized training (mostly easy runs with some hard efforts) and threshold training (focusing on a steady, moderately hard pace). Researchers want to see which method helps recreational runners aged 20 to 45 improve their 5-kilometer race time and body composition. Twenty participants will follow a 12-week program, and their results will be measured before and after.
