New pill aims to stop weight loss drug side effects

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called tradipitant can reduce the nausea and vomiting that some people experience when taking GLP-1 weight loss medications. It will involve 280 overweight or obese adults who do not have diabetes. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either tradipitant or a placebo (inactive pill) to see which one better controls these side effects.
