This study tests whether an FDA-approved drug, used off-label, can improve recovery in adults with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). 26 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo within 24 hours of injury. The main goal is to see if the drug leads to better functional outcomes, measured by the Disability Rating Score, four weeks after injury.
