First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests a new, non-invasive treatment called transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS) for people with early Alzheimer's disease. TPS uses gentle, focused sound waves to stimulate the brain, aiming to improve memory and thinking. The study will involve 40 adults aged 60-90 and compare TPS to a placebo to see if it can slow down or ease symptoms.
