NCT ID NCT07532512

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether therapeutic touch (a gentle, no-contact energy balancing technique) or acupressure (applying pressure to specific points) can reduce mild to moderate depressive symptoms in women after menopause. 156 women aged 45-65 took part, receiving eight sessions over four weeks. The goal was to see if these hands-on approaches could improve mood without medication.
