First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will test how comfortable and clear TOTAL30 Multifocal contact lenses feel after wearing them for up to 16 hours. About 36 adults who already wear multifocal contacts will rate their comfort and vision at several points during the day over one month. The goal is to see if these lenses perform well for people with nearsightedness, presbyopia, or astigmatism during long wear.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- TOTAL30 Multifocal contact lenses
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could show that these lenses stay comfortable and provide clear vision even after 16 hours of wear.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage observational study with only 36 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. It measures comfort and vision subjectively, not health outcomes.
