New combo aims to outsmart Chemo-Resistant lung cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding berzosertib to standard chemotherapy (topotecan) helps people with relapsed small cell lung cancer live longer without their cancer growing. About 104 participants will receive either the combo or topotecan alone. The goal is to see if blocking the cancer's ability to repair DNA damage makes chemotherapy more effective.
