First seen Nov 28, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether insulin eye drops are safe for people with glaucoma and other optic nerve diseases. About 52 participants will use the drops for 1-2 months while researchers monitor side effects and check for any changes in eye structure or vision. The goal is to see if this approach is safe enough for larger studies.
