New cream could ease painful 'Jeep Disease'
NCT ID NCT06286397
Summary
This study is testing whether a cream called clascoterone can help control pilonidal disease, a common and often painful skin condition near the tailbone. About 75 participants will apply either the study cream or a placebo cream twice daily for 12 weeks. Researchers will check if the cream reduces the severity of the condition, improves patients' symptoms and quality of life, and reduces inflammation.
