Pancreas cancer surgery showdown: total removal may boost survival

Summary
This study looks at whether removing the entire pancreas is better than removing just part of it for people with certain cancers in the head of the pancreas. The goal is to see if total removal helps patients live longer without making their quality of life worse. The trial involves 170 adults who are at high risk of complications from standard partial removal surgery.
