Summary
This study compares a stannous fluoride toothpaste to a standard Colgate toothpaste for reducing bacteria on teeth, tongue, cheeks, gums, and saliva. About 100 adults with plaque and gingivitis will brush with one of the two toothpastes. The goal is to see which toothpaste better controls mouth bacteria and improves gum health.
