First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a new method to fix bone gaps that can happen when a dental implant is placed right after a tooth is pulled. Researchers used a plate made from the patient's own tooth to cover the gap, along with a tooth graft. The study included 63 adults aged 20 to 45 who needed a front tooth replaced. Results were measured by implant stability and how the gum looked.
