Doctors test if less draping during Kids' tonsil surgery is just as safe

NCT ID NCT07347301

Summary

This study aims to find out if using a smaller, head-only surgical drape is as safe as a traditional full-body drape for children having their tonsils removed. Researchers will compare infection rates in the 30 days after surgery between the two methods. They will also measure how much medical waste each method creates and the associated costs.
