New drug aims to keep blood pressure in check after hospital discharge

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called tonlamarsen in 100 adults who were recently hospitalized for dangerously high blood pressure. The goal is to see if the drug can safely lower blood pressure and reduce a protein linked to hypertension. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo and be monitored for 12 weeks.
