Could a simple skin scan replace food diaries for kids?
NCT ID NCT05855824
Summary
This study aims to find a simpler way to measure what toddlers eat. Researchers want to see if a quick, painless scan of a child's skin can accurately track their fruit and vegetable intake, compared to traditional methods like blood tests and parent food logs. They will test this by having toddlers eat specific fruit and veggie pouches for four weeks and tracking changes in their skin and blood.
