Double-Dose chemo combo aims to beat esophageal cancer

Summary
This study tests whether giving two different chemotherapy and radiation regimens one after the other (total neoadjuvant therapy) works better than standard treatment for patients with esophageal cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes. About 216 adults with resectable cancer will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment sequences. The goal is to see if this approach improves how long patients live without the cancer growing back.
