Triple attack on tough breast cancer: new combo aims to boost immune response

Summary
This study tests whether adding a drug called axatilimab (which targets immune-suppressing cells) and radiation to standard immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) can help eliminate high-risk triple-negative breast cancer before surgery. About 35 women with low immune activity in their tumors will receive this combination. The main goal is to see if the cancer completely disappears in the breast and lymph nodes by the time of surgery.
