Brain zap study seeks new PTSD treatment path

NCT ID NCT04563078

Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation treatment (TMS) could help reduce PTSD symptoms and change related brain and stress responses. It involved 63 adults with PTSD from underserved communities to see if this approach is practical and effective. The research also aimed to find better brain targets for future treatments and understand why some people respond differently.
