NCT ID NCT07346794

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study explores whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can ease Alzheimer's symptoms by improving communication between the gut and brain. Researchers will treat 200 Alzheimer's patients with either real or fake rTMS for 4 weeks, then track their memory, thinking, and gut health for a year. Another 200 healthy adults will serve as a comparison group. The goal is to see if rTMS can boost cognitive function and understand how it works.
