First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to personalize brain stimulation treatment for people with PTSD, with or without mild traumatic brain injury. Researchers will use a special device that combines magnetic stimulation and light-based brain imaging to measure brain activity directly. The goal is to replace the current indirect method, which may lead to incorrect dosing. About 60 adults aged 18-70 will participate to see if this approach is feasible and accurate.
