Zapping the brain to understand smoking cravings

NCT ID NCT06695884

Summary

This study aims to find the best type of non-invasive brain stimulation to change how the brain responds to rewards in people who smoke. Researchers will test different stimulation patterns on 42 participants to see their effects on brain activity, decision-making, and cravings. The goal is to gather knowledge about how brain stimulation might influence smoking-related behaviors, not to provide treatment.
