First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether a fluoride varnish containing tiny particles (titania nanoparticles) can fight dental plaque better than regular fluoride varnish in people with braces. Twenty patients aged 16-30 will receive one of the two varnishes, and researchers will measure plaque levels and bacteria. The goal is to find a better way to control plaque and prevent cavities during orthodontic treatment.
