Summary

This research study collects tissue samples and medical information from people with cancer who are receiving radiation therapy, as well as from healthy volunteers. The goal is to create a long-term resource that scientists can use to study how cancer responds to radiation and to compare findings with healthy tissue. Participation involves donating samples and allowing researchers to review medical records over time.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to
The collected samples and data could help researchers better understand how cancer responds to radiation therapy and improve future treatments.
What could go wrong
This is a tissue and data collection study, not a treatment trial, so it does not directly test any new therapy. Results depend on future analyses.
