Summary

This study takes tissue that would normally be thrown away after surgery and uses it to grow cells in the lab. The goal is to develop better ways to study and repair tissues in the future. Up to 1,000 people having surgery at Wake Forest may participate. This research does not offer any direct treatment to participants.
