Immunotherapy combo shows promise in early lung cancer trial

Summary
This phase 3 study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug tislelizumab to standard chemotherapy before and after surgery helps people with stage II or IIIA non-small cell lung cancer. About 453 participants receive either tislelizumab plus chemo or a placebo plus chemo, followed by more tislelizumab or placebo after surgery. The goal is to see if the drug improves tumor response and delays cancer return.
