Weekly shot could free type 1 diabetes patients from Meal-Time math
NCT ID NCT07284511
Summary
This study is testing if a weekly medication called tirzepatide can help adults with type 1 diabetes use their insulin pump without having to count carbohydrates at every meal. It will compare 105 adults who either receive the medication or continue their usual care, all while using an automated insulin pump system. The main goal is to see if people taking tirzepatide can maintain safe blood sugar control without the burden of carb counting.
