Summary
This large, 5-year study is testing how well the weekly medication tirzepatide works for weight loss in a real-world setting compared to standard care. It will involve 3000 adults with obesity who do not have diabetes, aiming to see how much weight they lose and if the drug helps prevent them from developing type 2 diabetes. The study is designed to reflect how the medication might be used in everyday medical practice.
