Summary

This study tests whether a weekly injection of tirzepatide can reduce heavy drinking and improve health in 42 adults who have both alcohol use disorder and overweight or obesity. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 8 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug lowers the number of heavy drinking days.
