First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at 156 healthy women aged 30-60 to see if intermittent fasting (eating only during an 8-hour window) or quitting smoking could change DNA markers linked to aging and cancer risk. Participants received personal coaching and optional exercise over 6 months. Researchers compared DNA samples taken before and after the lifestyle changes to measure effects on biological age and disease risk.
