First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug tirofiban can help people who had a stroke caused by a narrowed artery in the brain but arrived too late for standard clot-busting treatment. Using a special MRI scan, doctors will identify the right patients and then give them tirofiban to prevent further damage. The goal is to see if more patients can recover with little or no disability.
