New combo therapy aims to outsmart resistant prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug called tinengotinib to standard hormone therapy (abiraterone or enzalutamide) is safe and effective for men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) — a type of prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to hormone treatment. About 50 adults with this advanced cancer will receive the combination and be monitored for side effects and tumor shrinkage. The goal is to find a better way to control the disease when current treatments are failing.
