Scientists hunt for new clue to track back pain disease

NCT ID NCT07383805

Summary

This study aims to understand if measuring a specific protein (Tim-3) on certain blood cells can help doctors better assess how active ankylosing spondylitis is in a patient. Researchers will enroll 81 adults with the condition to see if Tim-3 levels correlate with other disease activity markers and MRI scan results. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to test a new treatment.
