Can a tighter target give kids better diabetes control?

NCT ID NCT07376850

Summary

This study aims to find out if aiming for a tighter, more normal blood sugar range is better than the current standard for children and teens with Type 1 diabetes. It will involve 120 young people who use automated insulin pumps. Researchers will compare the two targets over a year to see if the tighter range improves long-term blood sugar control without causing more low sugar episodes or extra stress for families.
