Summary
This study tests a new way for people with gout to manage their condition. Participants will either use a smartphone app to check their own urate levels and adjust medication, or receive standard care. The goal is to see if this self-monitoring approach reduces painful gout flares over two years. The study involves 125 adults with gout who have had at least one flare in the past year.
