New eye drug tiespectus takes on standard treatment for wet AMD

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called tiespectus (EYE201) against the standard treatment aflibercept for wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of vision loss. About 960 adults with untreated wet AMD will receive injections into the eye to see if tiespectus can improve vision as well as or better than the current drug. The goal is to find a more effective option for managing this chronic condition.
