First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how to best replace thyroid hormones after radioiodine treatment for high-risk thyroid cancer. About 40 participants will receive either a combination of two hormones (L-T3 and L-T4) or the standard single hormone (L-T4) for two weeks. The goal is to see which approach more quickly and effectively lowers TSH levels, which is important for controlling the cancer.
