New trial aims to prevent chest symptoms in advanced lung cancer with targeted radiation

Summary
This study tests whether giving radiation to the chest area can prevent or delay symptoms like pain or breathing trouble in people with Stage IV non-small cell lung cancer that has spread. About 48 participants will receive this preventive radiation along with their usual cancer treatments. The goal is to see if this approach improves quality of life and delays symptom progression.
