Summary
This study tested whether giving TB prevention medicine in the community with fewer refill visits helps more people finish their treatment compared to the usual monthly clinic visits. 301 adults in South Africa who were at risk for TB took part. The goal was to see if the community-based approach leads to higher completion rates of the 3-month preventive therapy.
