First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive technique called focused ultrasound can temporarily improve visual working memory in healthy adults. Twenty right-handed participants aged 18-55 will receive brain stimulation while their brain activity is monitored with EEG. The goal is to understand how ultrasound affects brain regions involved in thinking, not to treat any disease.
