Memory boot camp: can mnemonics keep your brain sharp?

NCT ID NCT07479914

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether memory techniques (like mnemonics) can improve cognitive performance in 80 adults over 50 who have subjective cognitive decline (mild memory concerns). Participants are randomly assigned to either a memory training group (group sessions, online practice) or a control group that receives only general information. The goal is to see if training leads to better thinking skills after 6 months and whether benefits last up to 9 months.
