New gel could help heal gums in diabetic patients

Summary
This study is testing a gel that turns into a gel when warmed, used alongside standard gum disease treatment. It includes 70 people, some with type 2 diabetes and some without. The goal is to see if the gel helps gums heal better and if healing differs between diabetic and non-diabetic patients. Participants will be followed for 3 months.
