NCT ID NCT07557810
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new approach for treating hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) by combining a minimally invasive heat procedure with standard medication. About 454 adults with hyperthyroidism will receive thermal ablation to destroy overactive thyroid tissue, plus antithyroid drugs to control hormone levels. The goal is to see if this combination can better control symptoms, reduce drug side effects, and improve quality of life compared to medication alone.
