Summary

This study tested a therapy designed to help Veterans with PTSD improve their social relationships and support networks. Researchers compared a specialized therapy (ACT-SS) against a common treatment (PCT) in 107 Veterans. The goal was to see if the new approach could better help Veterans reconnect with family, partners, and friends by addressing feelings of detachment and avoidance.
