Can therapy help women overcome violence to beat HIV?
NCT ID NCT04242992
Summary
This study tested whether a special counseling program could help women in South Africa who are living with HIV and have experienced violence from a partner. The program, called CETA, teaches coping skills to help with stress, depression, and trauma. Researchers wanted to see if this support would help the women stay on their HIV medication and better control the virus in their bodies.
