NCT ID NCT04242992

Summary

This study tested whether a counseling program could help women in South Africa who have HIV and have experienced violence from a partner. The program, called CETA, teaches coping skills to improve mental health. Researchers wanted to see if this support would help women stay on their HIV medication and lower the amount of virus in their bodies, while also reducing violence.
